Featured in Voyage Phoenix: A Conversation About Strategy, Growth, and Kaizen
I’m thrilled to share that I was recently featured in Voyage Phoenix Magazine! In the interview, I opened up about my journey, the mission behind Kaizen Operational Strategies, and what it really means to support small business owners from the inside out.
Being featured was an exciting moment, not just because it’s an honor to be included, but because it gave me space to reflect on the why behind the work I do.
A Business Built on Evolution
In the interview, I shared how my path wasn’t linear. From working in real estate and law to launching multiple businesses, each step gave me the tools to help other business owners build something stronger, more sustainable, and more aligned.
“So many of the business owners I work with are brilliant at what they do—but they feel stuck in the weeds or chained to the day-to-day operations. My goal is to help them duplicate themselves, get out of overwhelm, and reclaim their time.”
That’s the heart of Kaizen Operational Strategies. We believe growth is ongoing, and small, strategic changes lead to big results over time. Whether it’s restructuring a team, building out operations, or driving revenue with smarter systems, I step in as a Fractional COO to help leaders focus on what they do best.
Lessons Learned and Shared
One of my favorite parts of the interview was being asked about lessons learned. I talked about how:
Perfectionism can slow you down
Delegation is a leadership skill, not a luxury
And that efficiency is not about doing more—it’s about doing what matters
If you’ve ever felt like your business is running you (instead of the other way around), you’ll probably relate to my story.
What’s Next
As Kaizen grows, I’m focused on helping more service-based business owners streamline their operations and scale with clarity. I’m also launching a new podcast, Behavioral Kaizen, and continuing to speak on topics like business systems, behavioral strategy, and sustainable growth.
If you’re a founder, CEO, or visionary leader who knows your business has more potential, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
